Finalmente è Natale!!!

 I campanellini tintinnano, le musichette si diffondono, gli alberelli addobbati ci mandano messaggi di gioia dai vetri appannati delle finestre... E' Natale la gente sorride e si scambia gli  auguri. Godiamoci il Natale e non pensiamo ad altro. Godiamoci questo senso di pace, la sua struggente tenerezza e lasciamoci trasportare dai ricordi... quanti ricordi!!!  Godiamocelo perchè ce lo meritiamo, godiamocelo perché ne abbiamo bisogno, e proprio per questo deve essere il più bello, il più ricco,

 il più fantastico.

Che cosa avete chiesto a Babbo Natale???

Caro Babbo Natale... quest'anno non sono stata tanto buona, come tutti gli anni, anzi forse sono stata un pochino più cattiva del solito... tuttavia vorrei tanti regali sotto l'albero. Per cominciare vorrei trovare Shalimar de Guerlain, uno dei miei profumi preferiti, avrei bisogno anche di un nuovo scanner e poi mi piacerebbe che tu mi pagassi una multa davvero salata - questo vale come regalo?-. Se poi tu volessi farmi un regalone puoi scegliere tra un vestito della mia stilista preferita (non dirò mai chi è), una catenina con il mio nome e un gattino randagio...

Avrei tante altre cose non materiali da chiedere, desideri che spero si realizzino al più presto ma che non posso assolutamente svelare... TAKE CARE!!!

Dear Santa, this year I have not been very good, actually maybe a bit worse than the past years… Still, I would love sooo much to find many gifts under the Christmas tree… To start with, I’d love Shalimar by Guerlain, one of my favourite perfume, then I’d like a new scanner and finally I would be grateful if you could pay a vey steep fine I got for me. Then, if you really want to make me a super-present, you can choose between a dress by my favourite designer (but you’ll have to find out who this is before…), a gold chain with my name on it, and a stray kitty…

There would be so much non-material things which I would like to ask, but for those I am afraid I will have to take care myself… TAKE CARE!!!

Natale a New York!

Ecco quello che accade a New York in questi giorni.. Vi piace? Chi non ha mai desiderato sentir cantare "Santa Claus is coming to town", pattinare sul ghiaccio a Rockefeller Center o affrettarsi assieme a tutti quei newyorkesi in ritardo per i regali di Natale? Le strade e i negozi sono pieni di vita, di decorazioni, di musica che sui marciapiedi accompagna piacevolmente le giornate dei turisti e dei lavoratori. Il Natale a New York è un’esperienza bellissima, da fare almeno una volta nella vita. Le vie pullulano di colori, luci e regali. E anche se nevica e fa freddo, a New York si sopporta tutto felicemente. 

New York is magic during Christmastime... Don't you think so? Who has never desired ice-skating in the Rockfeller Center listening to the tune of "Santa Claus is coming to Town", or simply rushing around with all the NewYorkers chasing for Christmas gifts? The streets and the shops are made wonderful by the decorations and the music...
So, even if it's very cold outside, Christmas in New York is really... heart-warming... 

Per le feste ecco la sera di Mango

Da oggi in poi entriamo nel vivo dei preparativi del Natale. Siete contente eh???  Scherzi a parte, le feste sono l'occasione, per eccellenza, in cui farsi notare; se avete deciso di rivoluzionare il vostro look, direi che è proprio il momento giusto. Conto alla rovescia... -30 a Natale!

Manca un mese esatto alla Vigilia di Natale, per quella data fortunatamente tutti i giochi saranno conclusi. E finirà la rincorsa ai regali che tutti gli anni si ripete, almeno per quanto mi riguarda, secondo il solito copione. Ogni anno, infatti, arrivo "lunga" e sono tra quei disperati che vagano per la città semideserta il pomeriggio del 24. E' tradizione ormai trascinare nella mia contagiosa follia natalizia anche mia sorella: l'anno scorso alla fine ci siamo arrese e siamo entrate nell'unico bar aperto della città per un aperitivo… Era il nostro piccolo segreto, ormai condiviso in rete pubblicamente...

Se siete a corto di idee e volete giocare d'anticipo, da oggi in poi, leggete i miei post dedicati ai regali. Per inaugurare lo speciale ho scelto alcuni pezzi davvero eccentrici. Vi piacciono??? Spero di sì.

Less than one month to go before Christmas, and thanks God by that date the quest for the Christmas gifts will be over! Like every year, it’s always the same story for me: I am late with the last gifts, and I am one of those desperate ones wondering around in a desert town on the afternoon of the 24th! It’s part of the tradition to force my sister to join me in this adventure, although I must confess that one year ago at the end we gave up looking for the last small gifts, and decided to exploit the opportunity of being together for a toss before Christmas in the only open bar in town!
